
A WOMAN was taken to the hospital after being bitten by a bullmastiff in a playground.
The woman was in the playing area in Leicester when she was attacked, having been shot in the head.
The attack took place around 10 am on 7 December in a park between Overton Road and Sulgrave Road.
After that, the woman was taken to the hospital, where she treated a head wound.
Leicester Police said a 42-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of driving a dog dangerously out of control, resulting in injuries.
He remains on police bail pending further investigation.
Officers seek to speak with anyone who may have seen the incident or the events leading up to it.
