And the last episode of the BBC series was the Christmas special that aired tonight.

However, this was in an unusual setting, and Kristin, Beth, Eric, Ann-Marie, Colin, Michelle, Alan, Gordon, and Ian gathered at a local coffee shop to take a break from shopping.

Christina, played by Elaine S. Smith, was uncharacteristically generous and got into the holiday spirit when she bought food and drinks for the entire gang after discovering she had £70 worth of points on her loyalty card.

But it turned out that her daughter Sophie and granddaughter Maddison could not come to Scotland for Christmas.

Devastated by this news, her friends suggested that she dine on the big day so she wouldn’t be alone.

But Kristin said that this day should be spent with the family.

Near the end of the episode, she ended up looking around a café filled with families, which left viewers looking for tissues.

She then received a message from Sophie saying that she and Maddison were coming home for Christmas.

Fans were in tears by the end of the special episode, with one saying, “Two doors down, what an episode… tears flow at the end.”

Another wrote: “I just cried on the Two Doors Down Christmas special oh my god. The cast was incredible.”

A third commented: “It’s so good to see that one of, if not the best comedy of recent times, Down Two Doors, has finally made it to BBC One for such an emotional Christmas special. I sobbed.”

While another said, “Bow, Elaine C Smith. I got something in my eye.”
