The TWO Doors Down star has hinted at a seventh season of the series.
Joy McAvoy, who plays fan favorite Michelle, discussed her plans for 2023 on the BBC’s Hogmanay.
Host Edith Bowman asked her about what the new year has in store for the Glasgow actress, both personally and professionally.
Joy, 40, spoke about the birth of her son this year and some of the projects she is working on.
She said: “There are a couple of things in development, keep your fingers crossed for me, I hope they converge.
“It’s really exciting.”

It was then that she mentioned the possibility of returning the much-loved residents of Latimer Crescent to our screens.
She continued, “And two more doors down.”
Edith then replied, “I hope.”
Joy told how the seventh series will be filmed THIS YEAR.
She said, “We were supposed to film this (Season 7) over the summer, but that has yet to be confirmed.”
The new mom also revealed how her water broke while she was on the set of the hit Scottish sitcom.
The actress, who played Grado’s fiancée Michelle in the BBC comedy Scotland, admitted that the birth of her son Jamie was “full of events”.
The show’s sixth series, which was the first not to feature Katie’s drunk neighbor since Doon McKichan left the show, has just come to an end.
The Christmas special that aired last month left viewers crying towards the end.
