A MAN found dead on the grounds of a Glasgow nursing home was a ‘permanent resident’.
The tragic discovery was made at the Chester Park Nursing Home on the city’s Lambhill Street on Boxing Day.
Since then, the authorities at the care facility have confirmed that the man remained at home, and the staff were “deeply shocked and saddened.”
This was announced by a representative Glasgow Times: “Unfortunately, one of our permanent residents was found on the property on Boxing Day.
“We are cooperating fully with police investigations in an attempt to establish the circumstances of his death.”
“Staff and residents are shocked and deeply saddened by the loss of such a beloved friend.”

An investigation has been launched into the circumstances of the death.
Officers say checks are ongoing.
A Scottish Police spokesman said: “At around 7:40 am on Monday 26 December 2022, a man was found dead on the grounds of a nursing home on Lambhill Street, Kinning Park, Glasgow.
“The circumstances of his death are currently under investigation.”
Elsewhere in Glasgow, in a separate incident, we described how a man was seriously ill in hospital after being stabbed outside a nightclub on New Year’s Day.
It is known that the 20-year-old victim was at a party with friends to celebrate the New Year in Sanctuary on Dumbarton Road when he was attacked.
An investigation has been launched into the incident, and the police are questioning witnesses.
