Claire Hoops reveals how clever she is to keep her kids from peeking into her living room on Christmas Eve.1 credit

Claire Hoops accepted tik tak and posted a video explaining how she hides the entrance to her living room with wrapping paper before finishing off with a bow.

When her children run downstairs to see if Santa Claus was there, they have to break through the wrapping paper to get to their presents.

Along with the video, she wrote: “Save it for Christmas Eve, wrapping the door like a Christmas present is a very cheap way to add some magic to Christmas and it’s so easy to do.

“I just use Cellotape, which is recyclable paper.”

The third praised: “I like it!”

Meanwhile, a fourth added, “I’m doing this so that my brothers and sisters don’t go down the stairs ahead of time because you’ll see if they go down because the wrapping paper will tear.”

And then he commented: “I do it – it’s great!”

Elsewhere, some parents admitted that they are already using the hack to keep their kids from peeking.
