Actor Bill Cosby has been sued by a woman who claims he drugged and raped her.
He is accused of assaulting model and aspiring actress Stacey Pinkerton, then 21, in 1986.
Cosby, now 85, allegedly promised to help her career but drugged her at a restaurant in Illinois and then drove her back to her hotel and molested her.
Her claims come more than a year after Cosby was released from prison, overturning a sexual assault conviction in 2018.
The lawsuit, filed in Manhattan Supreme Court, also alleges that the three media companies involved in the creation of The Cosby Show must have known that it was a danger to women and failed to protect Pinkerton from it.
Cosby denies all allegations against him.
