BRITAIN’S Got Talent judge David Walliams stunned viewers after he joked he was ‘out of place’ on an ITV show before his shock departure.
The witty 51-year-old judge’s awkward joke was caught on video before he reportedly left his position on the jury after ten years.
Expected in what will now be his final BGT appearance as a judge on the Ultimate Magician special, he awkwardly joked that he was no longer needed.
When host Stephen Mulhern instructed the judges that their role in today’s special would only consist of opinions and criticism, as the final decision rests with the audience, David replied, “We don’t matter.”
He added: “We are redundant for demands. Like you take out on a Saturday night.”
It comes just weeks after The Sun reported that BGT was in for a massive shake-up next year as ITV gave the public more voting rights.

It was claimed that viewers would be able to nominate and nominate them for the opportunity to audition in front of the judges.
Last year, the British show Got Talent presented Golden Moments where each judge attended a surprise performance and invited them to audition.
This is the first of many shocks since David left the judging panel. His shocking decision came after he was forced to apologize for swearing comments made about the contestants.
A source told The Sun at the time, “He didn’t take the decision lightly, but it looks like it’s time to move on.”
The audience sat and watched as Eric Chien became the winner of the show, winning a whopping £50,000 prize.
In a conversation with Stephen Mulhern, he stated that his hands were shaking because he could not believe it.
